I ordered a special-requested carrot cake with cream cheese frosting for my son's graduation party. The cake was better than was expected. The cake itself was dense and spongy, not crumbly, and not super sweet. The cream cheese frosting was not overpowering in flavor, but had a thick, creamy texture that complemented the cake so well! I was told when I picked it up that it was a carrot cake in a different style than what is common. Everyone that ate it (not everyone loves carrot cake - it's ok 0 more for us!!) LOVED it! It was delicious! Scrumptious...Also, the cake decoration was simple and elegant, as was the decoration requested by my son. The service was prompt (cake was ready on time) and friendly and the owner, Paul, was very communicative and personable throughout the ordering process. Everything at The Cake Box either met my expectations or exceeded them. I highly recommend this bakery, especially if you're looking for a special cake that is outside the norm. They do excellent work here!

Dry cake Dissapointed female owner is very Rude. No customer freindly at all inside bakery is very Dusty and flies are inside the pastries cabinets. Floors are very dirty, ceiling has webs and dust hanging all over. I noticed owners clothing also has lint , dog hairs and.Dandruff Not good . I will not do any business at that establishment ever in the future.

I have been going to this small family owned bakery for years. The Baumkuchen German cake is my favorite and Paul the baker makes beautiful and delicious cakes!
